Phil Kruppt did a nice job building some Simple Saws incorporating some of his own Ideas.

He also did a very nice job building the Dozer

                        Third dozer                                        Fourth Dozer

I designed and built 3 mini-dozers in 1983 and one in 2003.

I built the third dozer for less than $400 and used it over 1000 hrs before selling it.

It went through five owners and was still in working condition when I got it back in 2003

I used some of the parts and constructed the fourth one.

Information for the dozer is $65. It consists of drawings and construction story with pictures.

It is NOT detailed blueprints

Here are some adult pedal trikes with rear steering that I have designed and built.

This is my latest project prototype.

THREE WHEEL ELECTRIC CAR “Trike”

It uses 1965 technology and it works nice.

I am building another one with 2007 technology and designing

the frame as an electric car from the start.

I intend to get it titled and road legal as a motorcycle.

This one is for sale or trade and can be street legal.

I have around $4000 invested

Who Is William S Rake?

William S Rake: Born Feb 15 1940.  Married Patricia A Sprankle July 1965.  5 Children. 18 grand children

After 8 years in the US Air Force he had 45 different jobs from 1965 until 1981. Between jobs he would build things. Over 2000 trailers, many tow dollies, tow bars and tow trucks, farm equipment attachments,

Mini-tractors and other things.

In 1982 he became independent and never looked for another job.

Instead he started building specialty saws and built over 100 different sawmills.

Burnt out on sawmills he built mini-dozers, dirt screens, power rolls, cement mixers, backhoe attachments, blades, buckets, presses, log splitters, pedal cars, pedal Trikes, casting machines, houses, Pole Buildings and many other things.

And on rainy days he wrote poetry, short stories and tall tales.

He could look at a pile of junk and see building material. Ideas came faster than he could build.

Today there are many unfinished projects and 6 Semi-trailers full of stuff.

Only recently did William realize he had suffered all his life from severe depression.

It was this depression that made him unable to hold a job.  Learning the root of the problem

Has made William a much better grandpa than he was a father.
